Bord na Mona Fuels Limited successfully diversified into coal when it acquired
the business of
The company now imports and packages coal at six locations around the country namely; Foynes, Dublin, Cork, Dundalk, Sligo and Galway. In addition pre-packaged coal is distributed from five other locations Drogheda, Arklow, Tralee, Limerick and Kilmallock. A full range of bituminous and smokeless coal is offered. Bord na Móna Fuels Limited holds the Q-Mark (based on Business Excellence from Excellence Ireland) for its coal business. |
Consolidated
Holdings Limited (CHL) in August 1995. In June 1998 Suttons Limited of Cork
was acquired effectively doubling the size of the coal business.
